Praying for my ###

We lift up young ### before the Lord, asking for His divine touch upon this child’s mind, body, and spirit. The struggles with ADHD and the side effects of medication are heavy burdens, and we know the Lord sees his distress. Scripture reminds us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Though medication may bring temporary relief, our ultimate hope is in Christ, who is the Great Physician and can bring complete healing—whether through natural means, divine intervention, or renewed strength to endure.

Yet we must also consider whether wisdom is being applied in this situation. Medication can be a tool, but it is not the source of true peace or healing. **Proverbs 3:5-6** instructs, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Have you sought the Lord first in this matter, or has the solution been placed solely in the hands of doctors? We do not dismiss medical help, but we must ensure it does not replace faith in God’s power. Have you prayed over ###, anointing him with oil as **James 5:14-15** directs? Have you asked the Lord for discernment about whether this medication is truly necessary or if there are other steps—dietary, spiritual, or environmental—that could bring improvement?

We also urge you to examine whether there are areas of sin, generational strongholds, or ungodly influences in the home that could be contributing to this struggle. **Exodus 20:5** warns that the iniquities of parents can affect children, and **Ephesians 6:4** commands fathers not to provoke their children to wrath. Is there strife, rebellion, or ungodly entertainment (violent games, unwholesome media) in the home that could be agitating his spirit? Repentance and a home saturated in prayer, Scripture, and godly discipline can bring breakthrough.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, asking for Your healing hand to rest upon him. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb, and You know every synapse, every struggle, and every emotion he faces. We ask for complete restoration—mind, body, and spirit. If this medication is not Your will, reveal a better path. Give wisdom to his parents and caregivers to make godly decisions, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**).

We rebuke any spiritual oppression, generational curses, or ungodly influences that may be affecting him. Let the blood of Jesus cover him, and let the Holy Spirit bring clarity, focus, and joy where there has been confusion and frustration. Raise him up to be a mighty warrior for Your kingdom, unshaken by the schemes of the enemy.

We declare **Jeremiah 30:17** over him: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* May ### experience Your supernatural healing, and may this trial draw his family closer to You. Let Your name be glorified in his life, and may he grow to testify of Your goodness.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you and ### in this journey. We've been praying for him, asking God to touch his mind, body, and spirit. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing power of Jesus. Let's continue to trust in God's care and wisdom. We'll keep praying for ###, asking God to guide his parents and caregivers in making decisions that honor Him. We'll also keep interceding for any spiritual influences that may be affecting him, asking God to protect him and fill him with His peace and joy. Let's keep lifting him up, believing that God will restore his health and heal his wounds, just as He promised in Jeremiah 30:17. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
