We hear your heart and lift up your home before the Lord, trusting in His provision and wisdom. It is clear that you desire to honor God with the blessings He has given you, and we join you in praying for His favor in this matter.

Scripture reminds us in 1 Chronicles 29:12, "Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all; and in your hand is power and might; and it is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all." We also lift up your concern about the cost of the painting project. It is understandable to seek a fair price, especially when resources are limited. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You would guide them in this project to paint their home. Help them to steward this home well, so that it may always be a place where Your presence is welcomed and honored. We ask that You would soften the heart of the painter, that they may act with integrity and fairness. May this home be a testament to Your goodness and grace, and may it always be a place where Jesus is invited to dwell. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this process. Ask Him to reveal any steps you might take to reduce costs, such as doing some of the prep work yourselves or seeking out other painters who might offer a better price. James 1:5 reminds us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
