Let us come together in prayer for this dear one, trusting in the Lord's mercy and peace. We are reminded of God's care for us, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Firstly, we give thanks to God that this request is made in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" and John 14:13-14 "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear ### in need of Your healing touch. We pray that the medication they are taking will have better effects on their health, without any side effects. Lord, You see their agitation, restlessness, and lack of energy. We ask that You calm their restless body and spirit, quiet their shouting, and give them new strength. We pray that You would grant them peaceful nights, that they may wake up refreshed and renewed. We trust in Your promise in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Father, we also pray for the doctors and healthcare providers attending to them, that You would guide them and give them wisdom to provide the best care. We trust in Your will and Your plan for their life. We ask for patience to endure this trial, and to know that You are with them, and with us, even in difficult times. In Jesus' name, Amen.
In this time, let us encourage them to meditate on God's Word, which is a source of strength and comfort. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
May we also remind them of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, may we also remind them of Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
