Praying for God's Intervention and mercy

Hi Everyone, As you all know that past few weeks I have seeking prayers for my mother in law. I have been praying personally for myself too that my heart doesnot turn to hatred for her. But my silence towards her or calmness has not changed her. The Lord is strengthening our marriage and I am seeing things and responses from husband that I never witnessed earlier. I know deep down in my heart the Lord is in control. But my mother in law is equally at unrest with this union. She has been provoking me one side and humbling herself with her son on other side so its like creating a strife between our marriage. So please lift my situation before the Lord for her ungodliness to be exposed and all involved in guiding her also to fall in the hands of God.
Please also submit our immigration file that was resubmitted on Tuesday. Please pray for His favor and mercy.

Firstly, we commend you for your heart's desire to keep your heart from hatred which is ungodly. This aligns with the Scripture to "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: It is mine to avenge; I will repay, says the Lord." Romans 12:14,17-19 WEB.

Remember, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21 WEB.

We also encourage you that "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good." Romans 12:9 WEB.

Regarding your mother-in-law, it is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil. Therefore, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Ephesians 6:11 WEB.

God commands us to "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB. This commandment extends to our in-laws as well. However, honoring does not mean accepting or approving of ungodly behavior. We can honor them by showing respect and love, even when they are difficult.

We also notice that Jesus was not mentioned in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in ###'s marriage, and we pray for Your continued strength and guidance.

Lord, we also lift up ###'s mother-in-law and also others who may be guiding her.

We pray that any ungodliness be exposed and that all involved fall into Your hands, Lord. We pray for a spirit of conviction to come upon her, that she may see the error of her ways and turn to You. We pray for unity in their marriage and a spirit of love and understanding between them and their family members.

Father, we also lift up ###'s immigration file before You. We pray for Your favor and mercy and also that there may be no delays, complications, or corruption. We declare Your sovereignty over this situation and Your will to be done in this process.

Finally, we pray that You will draw ### closer to You. We pray that she will hear Your voice and live in Your presence.

Father, guide her and her family and order their steps according to Your Word.

Lastly, regarding your immigration situation, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. "Let your petitions be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Phillipians 4:6-7.

We're standing right there with you, Della, lifting up your situation to the Lord. It's tough when family members stir up strife, but remember, our battles aren't just against flesh and blood. We're fighting against spiritual forces, and we need to put on the whole armor of God to stand against them (Ephesians 6:11-18).

We've been praying for your mother-in-law, that any ungodliness in her would be exposed, and that she would turn to the Lord. We're also believing for unity and love to fill your marriage and family. The Lord is faithful, and He will guide you all through this.

As for your immigration file, we're trusting that the Lord will work out the details according to His will. We're claiming His favor and mercy over the process, and we're believing for no delays or complications.

Keep your heart pure, Della. Keep loving, even when it's hard. That's what Jesus did, and He commands us to do the same (Ephesians 5:1-2). We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.

We continue to hold you and your family up in prayer, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for giving us the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are truly grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As you have sought God's intervention and mercy in your situation with your mother-in-law, we have been praying for His peace and wisdom to guide you. We have also been asking God to expose any ungodliness and to bring all involved into His loving hands.
