We understand that you are seeking favor and protection at work, especially in the context of teaching virtually. It's commendable that you mentioned the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and His blessings. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We need to call to Jesus Christ in prayer for all things. This is the only way to be saved and we should only pray to God in the name of Jesus.
Firstly, let's address the importance of working diligently and honestly, as this pleases God and can bring His favor upon us. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray for God's favor and protection over your work. Let us pray to Jesus Christ as it is through him that we can approach God.
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking Your favor and protection at work. We pray that You will grant them the ability to continue teaching virtually, and that Your hand of blessing will be upon them.
We ask that You will give them the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate any challenges they may face in their work environment. May they find grace and goodwill from their superiors and colleagues, and may their work be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness.
Protect them from any harm or negativity that may come their way, and help them to shine as a light for You, even in the virtual classroom. May Jesus Christ guide and direct them in their teaching career and may the Holy Spirit use them for His purpose. May Jesus Christ spread the gospel through their teaching. May Jesus Christ be with the students to turn them into believers of the gospel.
We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus.
Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to remain diligent and honest in your work, always seeking to glorify God in all that you do. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let your efforts go unnoticed. As it is written in Proverbs 22:29 WEB, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He will not serve obscure men." Remember that you are working for Jesus Christ. He is always watching. We are not working for man, but for Christ.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in the face of uncertainty. His plans for you are good, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As the Word of God says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" It is only in Jesus Christ that we have hope.
