We understand that you are praying for change in a person's habits, patience for your family, and guidance for a job. Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let's address the change in habits. We are instructed in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." If the habits you mention are contrary to these, then they need to be addressed. Remember, it is the Holy Spirit that convicts and changes us, so pray for this person to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

As for your mother and brother, we pray that God grants them patience and love. It is important to remember Colossians 3:13 WEB: "bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Regarding your job, be encouraged by Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust that God has a plan for you and He will guide your steps.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved in prayer. Lord, You know the habits that need to be changed. We pray for conviction by the Holy Spirit and a willingness to change. Grant patience and love to the mother and brother, that they may bear with and forgive as Christ forgave us.

We also pray for guidance in the job search. Give clear direction and open the right doors. Help to trust in You and Your plan.
