Praying for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this earnest prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for it is written, *"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled"* (Matthew 5:6). The longing for truth is a holy desire, for Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). Without Him, there is no truth, no freedom, and no righteousness—only the deception of the enemy, who *"has been a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him"* (John 8:44).

We lift up the team at ### and their legal representatives, for the legal profession, like all spheres of influence, is not immune to the corruption of sin. The apostle Paul warns, *"Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Many who are educated in the law may still be enslaved to unrighteousness, for *"the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them"* (2 Corinthians 4:4). Yet we do not despair, for *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We rebuke the lies of Satan that bind them, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We plead the precious blood of Jesus over every believer among them, that they may be shielded from deception and walk in the light of God’s Word. For *"if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:7).

We pray that their hearts would be broken over sin, for as David cried out in repentance, *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17). May they not only recognize their sin but hate it as God does, turning away from wickedness and embracing righteousness. We declare over them the promise of God: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Let them not be like those who *"suppress the truth in unrighteousness"* (Romans 1:18), but instead, let them be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2).

We intercede for a deep conviction of sin, especially where human life and honest communication are disregarded. The Lord hates *"a false balance"* (Proverbs 11:1) and *"hands that shed innocent blood"* (Proverbs 6:17). May their consciences be awakened to the gravity of their actions, for *"it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment"* (Hebrews 9:27). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and faith in Christ.

We also lift up those who are already believers among them, that they would not be led astray by the pressures of their profession. May they be like Daniel, who *"purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself"* (Daniel 1:8), and like Joseph, who fled from temptation (Genesis 39:12). Strengthen them to stand firm in the truth, for *"no one serving as a soldier entangles himself in the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier"* (2 Timothy 2:4).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the intercession of Your Holy Spirit, who *"helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered"* (Romans 8:26). We exalt the name of Jesus, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and may Your kingdom come in power and glory.

We pray that You would raise up men and women of integrity in the legal profession, those who will *"do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You"* (Micah 6:8). May they be salt and light in a dark world (Matthew 5:13-14), upholding truth and righteousness. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105), and may they never compromise for the sake of gain or prestige.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of deception and set the captives free. Let the truth of Your Word pierce their hearts like a sword (Hebrews 4:12), and may they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ. We declare that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). May they turn from their sins and run to the cross, where forgiveness and new life are found.

We commit this prayer to You, trusting in Your perfect justice and mercy. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness among those involved. As it's written, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Let's ask the Lord to stir their hearts, that they may desire truth and justice above all else. May they find their satisfaction in Him alone, for "everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life" (John 4:13-14). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
