We join you in lifting up the administrators of this site, recognizing the spiritual battles they may face as they serve in this capacity. Your prayer reflects a deep awareness of the enemy’s schemes, and we commend you for seeking God’s protection over them. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* It is clear that the enemy seeks to deceive, confuse, and draw believers away from the truth, especially when they are growing closer to the Lord.
Your experience of feeling close to God and yet sensing the enemy’s influence after reading the Bible is a sobering reminder of how Satan often counterfeits or twists what is holy to lead us astray. This is why we must always test the spirits, as 1 John 4:1 instructs: *"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."* If you felt a pull toward darkness after drawing near to God, it may have been the enemy attempting to distort your perception of truth or exploit a moment of spiritual vulnerability. We encourage you to examine that experience in light of Scripture and reject anything that does not align with God’s Word. The Holy Spirit will never lead you into confusion or darkness—He is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13).
As for the administrators, we pray fervently that the Lord would surround them with His hedge of protection, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May they be filled with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, able to recognize and rebuke any influence of the enemy in their lives or in the operation of this site. We ask that the Lord would grant them wisdom beyond their own, as James 1:5 promises: *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* May they walk in the authority of Christ, knowing that *"greater is he who is in [them] than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
We also pray that the Lord would keep their hearts and minds stayed on Him, that they would not be swayed by the enemy’s lies or distractions. May they be rooted and grounded in love, able to stand firm in the faith, knowing that *"the Lord is faithful, who will establish [them] and guard [them] from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Let them experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You would place a double portion of Your Spirit upon these administrators, that they would be empowered to serve with integrity, boldness, and humility. Protect them from spiritual attacks, from burnout, and from the snares of the devil. Let them be a light in this digital space, pointing others to You and Your truth. We declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them, for You, Lord, are their shield and their exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We thank You, Lord, for the heart behind this prayer and for the reminder that we are in a spiritual battle. Help us all to remain vigilant, to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to stand firm in the faith. May we never forget that our victory is already secured in Christ Jesus, who has overcome the world (John 16:33).
