We are truly saddened to hear about the spiritual battle that this student and her mother are facing. Firstly, we are reminded of the reality of our spiritual warfare as described in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
We must remember that Jesus is the only way to overcome such influences. It is only through His name that we can be saved. In Acts 4:12, the Apostle Peter was filled with the Holy Spirit and said “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). It is through confession of sin, turning away from it, and believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that we are saved from God's judgement and can live with Him forever more.
As a group, we will pray for this student and her mother, that they may be delivered from this evil influence. We pray for God's intervention and deliverance over their hearts and minds, and for a renewal in their faith. Our hope lies in the power of Jesus' name. Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this student and her mother. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives and ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke any evil spirits influencing them and command them to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for their hearts to be opened to Your truth and love, and for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. We ask that they may turn from their sins, believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be saved in His mighty name. We pray for Your protection and guidance over their lives, and for them to become witnesses of Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for them and to share the Gospel with them, reminding them of God's love and power to save and deliver. If the request was not asked in Jesus name, remember it is only by His name that we have access to God.
