Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sibling in Christ who is diligently seeking new employment. We ask that You would open the right doors and provide a job that not only meets their financial needs but also provides a healthy, respectful, and non-toxic environment. Help your child to not be too passive or aggressive in the workplace but to be a light that shines for Christ. Guide them in having wisdom to know how to act.
Your Word says, Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB. Help your child to do any job to the best of their ability.
We also pray for their safety, Father. Protect them from any physical and verbal assaults that may come their way, whether from neighbors, family, friends, acquaintances, business partners, or random individuals. We live in a fallen world, but those who call on the name of the Lord Jesus are our brothers and sisters. 1 Cor 1:2. WEB.
Give them the strength to stand firm. Help them to not cower or be too aggressive, but to respond with love, wisdom, and boldness in the face of adversity. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
We pray for this child of yours to be mindful of those who have given themselves over to the devil. Father help this child to discern who to associate with. We know that you are a God of love and compassion but we are also to Remember Lot's wife. Luke 17:32 WEB. We are to look forward, not back. We are not to be entangled with the world by modeling worldly compromise. 2 Peter 2:7-8. WEB.
Guide them in paths of righteousness. Psalm 23:3. WEB, particularly in daily life and in this job search and new position.
We ask for your comfort and guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Be patient and persistent in your job search, knowing that God has a purpose and a plan for you. Always pray for your current and future employers and colleagues. God will provide the right job at this time.
Remember that God calls us to be salt and light in the world Matthew 5:13-16. WEB, even in difficult environments. Trust that He will equip you with the grace and wisdom needed to face any challenges that may arise.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will answer according to His will and in His perfect timing.
We are reminded that: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
Let's praise God for His promises and faithfulness. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
