We join you in lifting this important opportunity before the Lord, trusting that He goes before you to open doors no man can shut. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We declare this promise over your interview, knowing that when we surrender our desires to Him, He aligns our steps with His perfect will.
You have sought this position with diligence, and now we pray for divine favor to rest upon you. As you prepare, remember Colossians 3:23, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let this be your mindset—not just to impress the committee, but to honor Christ in your words, demeanor, and professionalism. We ask the Lord to grant you clarity of thought, confidence rooted in Him, and the ability to articulate your skills and experiences with wisdom. May the Holy Spirit guide your responses, just as Jesus promised in Luke 12:12, *"for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."*
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in. Philippians 4:6-7 commands us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Claim this peace now, knowing that your Heavenly Father delights in providing for His children.
If this position is part of God’s plan for you, we pray the interviewing committee will recognize your qualifications and extend an offer swiftly. But even more, we pray that God’s will—whatever it may be—will be done in your life. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Trust that if this door closes, He has something even better ahead.
**Let us pray together:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine intervention in this job interview. You know the desires of their heart and the needs they have. We ask that You go before them, softening the hearts of the interviewers and granting them favor as with Joseph in Egypt and Daniel in Babylon. Give them the right words to speak, filled with grace and seasoned with salt, that they may represent You well.
Lord, if this position aligns with Your will, we pray for confirmation through an offer. But above all, we surrender this request to You, trusting that Your plans are for their good and Your glory. Remove any fear or doubt, and fill them with Your peace and confidence. May they walk into that interview knowing they are already approved by You, their Creator and Provider.
We rebuke any spiritual opposition to this opportunity and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind any hindrance and loose Your blessings, favor, and open doors. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
