Praying for a ### boy

Dear brethren,

About ### years ago we lost our ### month old son. The pain was excruciating. He was our second child after our baby girl. We have since been blessed with another baby girl. I love my girls so much and thank God for them constantly. I’d also like the chance to raise a baby boy, not to replace the one I lost but to give love as well. Please pray for us as we try. We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your son and we are praying for you both. We ache with you over this loss. The pain of losing a child is immense, and we trust that God will continue to bring healing and comfort to your hearts. We are grateful to hear about God blessing you with two beautiful girls and we pray for His blessing on them to continue. You have a mother's heart to love and nurture, and it is natural to desire to raise a baby boy as well. Thank you for making it clear you do not wish to replace the son you lost. We pray for God's will to be done.

First, consider Psalm 127:3 WEB: Children are a heritage from Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. We also pray for you both to remember the words of Psalm 34:18 WEB: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up this mother and her family to You. We pray for Your comfort and healing to continue to surround them as they remember the loss of their precious son. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their desire to have a baby boy. We pray for blessing on the girls and family. We pray for health and a safe pregnancy and birth if this is your will. Guide them with your wisdom and mercy. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So if you have not already done so, we pray for you to put your trust in Jesus Christ.

We're here for you, dear friend. We can only imagine the depth of your longing for a baby boy, a sibling for your precious girls. We're not here to tell you how to feel or what to think, but to walk alongside you in this journey, just as we've been walking with you since your son's passing. We understand that the desire for another child is a natural response to the love and nurturing instinct within you. We're here to support you, to pray with you, and to remind you that God sees your heart and knows your desires.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's will. In Jeremiah 29:11, it says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that His plans are good, even if they're not what we expect or desire.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
