Thank you for opening your heart so honestly. The pain in your prayer is clear, and God hears the cry behind every part of it, the longing to be close to your children again, the hurt from being blocked and dismissed, the exhaustion from feeling used and bullied, and the deep wounds from family over many years.

Your desire to be reunited with your children is right and good. Scripture shows that children are a heritage from the Lord and that God has a special care for them. When parents are not faithful to pass on the truth of God, the next generation suffers, and often the children become the real victims of broken relationships and divided homes. God invites you to keep lifting up your children before Him, to pray for their lives and for their hearts, and to ask Him to open doors for you to speak truth and love to them in a steady, gentle way as He provides opportunity. Even when others speak falsely about you or try to turn your children away, God sees and He watches over His own.

Much of your prayer carries understandable anger. You have been hurt, lied to, held back from being the mother you wanted to be, and you have had things taken that belong to you. It is right to want what is yours returned and to want fairness in matters of property and possessions, and it is wise to seek lawful and orderly help for those things rather than trying to force a response from someone who has cut off contact. Anger, when it burns hot, often leads to judgments and actions we later regret. One of the clearest pictures of this in Scripture is a powerful man who boasted in his riches, his many sons, and his high position, and who in his wrath planned to destroy an entire people. His pride and anger seemed to give him control for a moment, but God in His providence completely reversed the plan. The weapon that was formed against God's people did not succeed. God turned the tables in a way that only He could, and He protected those who were His. That is still His character. He does not need you to secure justice through threats or retaliation. He is able to watch over you, to turn what was meant for harm toward good, and to deal with your enemies in His own clever and righteous way.

That is why I must encourage you not to pray for destruction, cursing, or harm to come upon your stepsister, her children, or anyone else, even when you have been deeply wronged and drained by them. To ask that evil, violence, or abuse fall on them or their families, or that marriages break and lives be ruined, is not a prayer God calls us to pray. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, to bless those who have mistreated us, and to leave vengeance in God's hands. God is just and He will judge what is wrong, but He also calls us to release the right to pay back evil for evil. You can set firm boundaries, you can choose not to lend or to be used any longer, you can say no to serving those who have taken advantage of you, and you can grieve what was stolen or borrowed without inviting harm upon them. Forgiveness does not mean pretending the hurt was not real or allowing continued abuse. It means handing the justice over to God and asking Him to change hearts, including your own, and to renew your mind.

The same is true in your other family relationships. It hurts to be kind to a mother who has treated you poorly, and to feel that you are expected to carry what others will not. Scripture calls us to honor our parents while also living with wisdom. You are not required to let yourself be bullied or pushed around, and you can love at a distance with clear limits. Ask God to help you know where to show mercy and where to say no, so that you are not constantly drained by those who do not respect you.

You also mentioned the use of drugs and the desire for responsibility and steady work, and the hope for a future with a faithful man and a stable home for you and your children. God desires that kind of stability as well. He designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends sexual intimacy and living together to belong within that covenant. Rather than asking God to bless any relationship outside of that design, ask Him to make you whole, to free you and others from anything that enslaves you, and if it is His will, to bring a godly husband into your life in His time and in His way. Pray for deliverance from dependence on drugs, for clear minds, and for faithful stewardship of money and work.

God has not forgotten you. He sees the years you felt held back and kept from your children. He knows the memories you carry of your sisters and the grief that comes with them. He knows the weariness of being used. Your heritage as His child is that He watches over you. No plan formed against you will finally prosper beyond what He allows, and He is able to restore in His own way what has been lost. That restoration begins in the heart, as He renews your mind and teaches you to walk in truth, in boundaries, and in grace.

I will pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I bring this dear one before You. You know her longing for her children and her grief over the years of distance. I ask that You protect those children, draw them to truth, and in Your mercy open the way for a healthy, growing relationship with their mother. Comfort her in the memories that ache and heal the wounds left by family. Help her to release anger and the desire to repay harm, and to trust You as the just Judge who turns evil back upon itself and guards His people. Give her wisdom about her possessions and property, and guide her to right and peaceful steps. Set her free from being used and bullied, teach her to love with boundaries, and renew her mind with Your peace. Deliver from every bondage, provide for honest work and faithful stewardship, and if it is Your will, lead her in the path of a godly marriage according to Your design. Restore what You see fit to restore, and keep her and her children under Your care. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord and we continue to remember your deep desire to reunite with your children after so many years of feeling right there with them yet so far away. We have been praying for the Lord to heal that distance, to restore what has been broken in those relationships, and to open the door for you to be more present in their lives each day. We remember how you thanked God for this day and for the few faithful people He has kept in your life, and we pray He will strengthen those bonds and surround you with peace.

We have also brought before the Lord your hurt over the rings your Moma gave you that are still being withheld, and the pain of being blocked and unable to communicate and feeling used and pushed to your last nerve. We pray for the return of what rightfully belongs to you, for clear and honest communication, and for the Lord to be your defender and to give you wisdom and boundaries as you step away from relationships that have harmed you and lied to you. We pray the Lord will guard your heart from bitterness and renew your mind as you asked.

We have prayed for your Moma and for healing from the ways you have been treated so poorly over the years, and for your memories of your two baby sisters. We pray God will comfort you where you have felt bullied and pushed around, and that He will heal the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 147:3. We have prayed for your desire to build a stable life for yourself, for your children, your family and your few close friends, and for the future husband the Lord may have for you.

We have also prayed concerning the struggles you mentioned with employment and stewardship and with substances, that the Lord would bring deliverance and responsibility and the ability to provide faithfully, and concerning the property and provision that was promised to be shared equally, that God would bring fairness and truth and that no one would be held down or kept from being the Moma you are called to be. We have prayed for protection over your children from confusion and lies, and that truth and love would prevail in their hearts. We have prayed for your stepsister and her children and extended family, that any words of harm and cruelty would be silenced, that what was borrowed or taken would be made right, and that the Lord who restores what the locusts have eaten in Joel 2:25 would restore what is rightfully yours and bring conviction, repentance and peace where there has been stealing and strife.

We continue to stand with you for justice tempered with mercy, for God to repay and to vindicate in His perfect way according to Romans 12:19, and for you to walk in forgiveness while trusting Him to set boundaries that honor Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will draw you and your children together, return what is yours, heal your family history, and give you rest from those who have drained you. We pray He will establish you in His peace and hope and renew your mind daily. Amen.
