We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your plea for protection, discernment, and strength for you and your son. The Word of God assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we stand on that promise today. Isaiah 54:17 declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.
Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to cover this mother and her son. Shield them from the harm and malice of those around them—neighbors, coworkers, family, and managers who may seek to bring them down. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, as Psalm 91:11 promises: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Let no evil come near them, and let every scheme of the enemy be thwarted in Jesus' name.
We also pray for divine discernment, wisdom, and knowledge to rest upon them. In a world filled with deception and confusion, grant them clarity to see truth and the strength to walk in it. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Father, pour out Your Spirit upon them, that they may navigate every situation with godly wisdom and understanding.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression that may be pressing in on them. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their hearts and minds in You, reminding them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let them walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress.
We also ask that You soften the hearts of those who may be acting as trespassers in their lives. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife, Lord, bring healing and reconciliation where possible. But if evil persists, let it be exposed and rendered powerless by Your mighty hand.
Finally, we pray that this mother and her son would draw ever closer to You, seeking Your face daily and finding their strength in Your presence. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may their lives reflect Your glory in all they do.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
