We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that our God is alive, active, and sovereign over all things, and we trust in His perfect justice, timing, and provision.
Father, we first lift up the need for stable employment for these family members. We ask that You open doors of opportunity in government and public sector positions that align with their qualifications and Your purpose. Lord, You know the financial strain caused by delayed salaries and the uncertainty of temporary work. We pray that You would intervene in the screening and interview processes, removing any unjust barriers and granting favor where it is needed. Provide clarity, wisdom, and peace as they navigate these transitions, and ensure that there are no obstacles when it comes time to leave one position for another. Your Word says, *"The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand"* (Deuteronomy 28:12). We claim this promise over their careers, trusting that You will provide in ways that bring glory to Your name.
We also lift up the desire for a godly spouse for the family member seeking marriage. Father, we ask that You prepare a man of integrity, a doctor who fears You, walks in holiness, and has no ungodly habits. May he be a man who loves Your Word, serves You wholeheartedly, and will lead a marriage that honors You. We pray that this union would happen in Your perfect timing, not according to human impatience, but according to Your will. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD"* (Proverbs 18:22). We ask that You guide this process and protect from any relationships that do not align with Your design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.
Now, we must address the deep pain and injustice caused by the broken agreement over the house lease. Father, we acknowledge the frustration, sleepless nights, and financial strain this has caused. We rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has led this man and his wife to lie, cheat, and withhold what is rightfully owed. Your Word is clear: *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it"* (Proverbs 3:27). We pray that You would convict their hearts and compel them to repay the full amount owed, including the rent and interest, without further delay. We do not ask for the extreme punishments requested, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19), but we do ask for Your justice to prevail. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the harm they have caused. If they refuse to repent, we trust that You will deal with them in Your way and in Your time.
We must also address the doubts and anger that have crept into this situation. Father, we confess that the waiting has led to questions about Your faithfulness, Your power, and Your justice. But Your Word reminds us: *"The LORD is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). You are not inactive, nor are You powerless. Your timing is perfect, and Your justice is sure. We repent for the times we have allowed bitterness and frustration to overshadow our trust in You. Forgive us, Lord, and restore our faith. Help us to remember that You see all things, and You will not let the wicked go unpunished. *"For the LORD loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off"* (Psalm 37:28).
For the family’s health, we pray for strength, vitality, and protection from illness. Guard their bodies, minds, and spirits, and grant them the discipline to care for themselves as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). For the desire to own a home, we ask that You provide a dwelling that is not only a physical shelter but a place of peace, worship, and hospitality. May it be a testimony to Your provision and faithfulness. For the clinics, pharmacies, and medical labs, we pray for wisdom in establishing these businesses, for favor with patients and authorities, and for opportunities to share the hope of Christ through their work. May these ventures not only meet physical needs but also point people to the Great Physician.
Finally, Lord, we lift up the desire to provide employment and education to the poor. May these acts of service be done with humility and love, reflecting Your heart for the marginalized. *"Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him"* (Proverbs 14:31). Use these efforts to transform lives and bring glory to Your name.
We declare that our God is just, faithful, and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your promises, even when we do not see their fulfillment yet. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to wait patiently, knowing that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). We surrender these requests to You, confident that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
