We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for mental stability and healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals both body and mind. We ask that You would bring peace and stability to this dear one, calming the storms within their mind and replacing anxiety with Your perfect peace.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind.
We also know that healing comes from You, as it is written in Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Strengthen their mind, body, and spirit, and restore them to full health according to Your will.
We must also address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that this dear one knows Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we pray and find true healing and peace.
Lord, we rebuke any spirits of fear, anxiety, or depression that may be afflicting them. We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We encourage this one to draw near to God, for He has promised in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." Spend time in His Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Let the truth of Scripture wash over you and bring healing to your mind.
Father, we also ask that You surround this dear one with godly counsel and support. Bring believers into their life who can speak truth, offer encouragement, and pray with them. Let them know they are not alone, for You are always with them, and Your people are here to lift them up.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
