We lift up these two precious souls before the throne of grace, dear Lord, knowing that You alone hold their futures in Your hands. Father, we ask that You would draw near to them, revealing Yourself in powerful and personal ways. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and faith in the finished work of the cross. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only Jesus (Acts 4:12). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
For those who already walk with You, Lord, we ask that You would deepen their faith, refine their character, and align their desires with Your perfect will. If there are areas of sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—we rebuke the enemy’s lies and ask for Your cleansing and renewal. If they are struggling with relationships that do not honor You, we pray for conviction and courage to walk in purity. The Bible is clear: marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual intimacy outside of that bond is sin (Hebrews 13:4). If they are in a relationship that does not align with Your design, we pray for wisdom to seek godly counsel and the strength to honor You above all else.
Father, we also pray for protection over their minds and hearts. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and surround them with believers who will sharpen and encourage them in the faith (Proverbs 27:17).
We declare Your promises over their lives: that You have plans for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May they seek You with their whole hearts, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Strengthen them in times of weakness, comfort them in sorrow, and fill them with joy as they abide in Your presence.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
