We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for provision and justice. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that all blessings—including financial provision—come from God alone. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). We trust in His sovereignty over our work and livelihoods, knowing that He cares deeply for our needs.
Father, we pray for an increase in honest and sincere customers who will value the service being offered. We ask that You open doors of opportunity and bring people who genuinely need what is being provided. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in Him, and He will do this" (Psalm 37:5). Lord, we also ask that You would soften hearts that have been hardened by mockery or indifference. May those who come in contact with this business see the love and sincerity behind the work and respond with kindness and respect.
However, we must also address the request to remove "oppressive and bad people." While it is understandable to feel hurt by mockery, we are called to respond differently than the world. Jesus teaches us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). Instead of asking for their removal, we should pray for their transformation. Perhaps their mockery stems from ignorance, pain, or their own spiritual blindness. Let us pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth and that their hearts would be softened by Your love.
Lord, we also lift up the intention behind this business—to improve eye conditions and serve others. May this work be a reflection of Your healing and compassion. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23). We pray that this business would not only provide for earthly needs but also be a testimony to Your goodness and grace.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of discouragement or bitterness that may have taken root in this situation. We declare that this business is under Your protection and provision. "The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing" (Psalm 23:1). We trust that You will provide in ways that exceed human understanding, and we ask for wisdom in how to steward the resources You entrust to us.
Lastly, we must emphasize that our ultimate trust is not in sales, customers, or financial success, but in You alone. Salvation and true provision come only through Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If there is any doubt or uncertainty about where this trust lies, we encourage a personal relationship with Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Heavenly Father, we pray for this business and those who operate it. May they experience Your peace, provision, and favor. May their work be a blessing to others and a testimony to Your faithfulness. We ask for an increase in honest customers, wisdom in decision-making, and a heart that reflects Your love, even to those who may not yet understand. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your glory and honor. Amen.
