We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your urgent cries for protection, discernment, and strength for you and your son. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we pray you would do so today, for He alone is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Father God, we stand in the gap for this mother and son, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, just as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17. We rebuke every spirit of strife, envy, and malice that may be operating through their neighbors, coworkers, and managers. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your holy angels to protect them from all harm and evil schemes (Psalm 34:7). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to navigate every situation according to Your will (James 1:5).
We pray for divine favor over their new opportunities—that You would open doors no man can shut and equip them with the strength and ability to perform every task set before them (Philippians 4:13). Lord, let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and may they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are their defender (Psalm 27:1).
Father, if there are any areas in their lives where they have unknowingly given the enemy a foothold—through unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear—we ask that You would reveal it to them and lead them to repentance. Help them to forgive those who have trespassed against them, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Let Your love and truth be their guide in all things.
We declare over them Your promise from Psalm 91:14-15: *"Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him."* May they experience Your deliverance and favor in every area of their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
