We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and their family in prayer. Father God, we ask that You would draw near to them in this time of need, whatever that need may be. We do not know the specifics of their struggles, but You do, and we trust in Your perfect knowledge and sovereignty.
Lord, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence surrounding them, comforting them, and giving them strength. We ask that You would provide for every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual—according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Father, if there is any sin or unrepentance in their lives, we pray that You would convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Help them to walk in Your ways and to seek Your will above all else. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold, and we declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We also pray for unity and love within their family. May they be bound together in Your love, supporting and encouraging one another through every trial. Help them to forgive one another as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), and to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. If they do not know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through them. Amen.
