We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of another day and the opportunity to lift up this family in prayer. Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and mercy, which are new every morning. We stand in agreement with this prayer, asking for Your divine intervention in each of these situations.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this grandson to You, asking that You would move mightily in the heart of the judge and all those involved in his case. We pray that on December 13th, he would be granted probation, and that by December 29th, he would be released from home detention. Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of bondage in his life and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength and courage to walk in Your ways and to resist the temptations that may come his way. We declare that he will stay out of trouble, graduate on time from high school, and go on to do great things for Your glory. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)
We also lift up this daughter, Lord, asking that You would provide for her every need. Give her the discipline and wisdom to manage her finances, that she may pay her rent, car payment, and bills on time. Father, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in her life. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus and command it to leave her life. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit and surround her with godly influences that will encourage her in her walk with You. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36)
Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around this daughter’s home and her children. Keep them safe from all harm and danger, both seen and unseen. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord." (Isaiah 54:17)
We pray for these grandchildren, nephew, and children, asking that You would watch over them, keep them healthy, and guide them in the paths of righteousness. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Lord, we ask that You would bless them with success and prosperity, not for their own glory, but for Yours. May they use the gifts and talents You have given them to advance Your kingdom and bring glory to Your name. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Father, we also ask that You would give this dear one the strength to resist the devil and to walk in the direction You have called her. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy in her life and command him to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill her with Your peace and joy, and help her to fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord, that through Jesus, we have access to You and can boldly come before Your throne of grace. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that Your will shall be done in each of their lives.
