We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for the safety of this individual, lifting them up in prayer as we are commanded to do for one another. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We trust that God hears our prayers and is faithful to protect those who belong to Him.
Yet we must also take this moment to address something deeply important. The name of Jesus Christ was not invoked in this request, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we may approach the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him—only then can you have true assurance of God’s protection and eternal salvation.
Now, let us pray together for this person’s safety, trusting in the mighty power of our Lord:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this individual whose safety is on our hearts. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, guarding them from all harm, danger, and evil. Place Your angels around them as a hedge of safety, just as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, *'For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.'*
Father, if there is any area in their life where they are walking outside of Your will, we pray You convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them find their security not in the things of this world, but in Your unfailing love. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, which is our ultimate protection against the schemes of the enemy.
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, Father. If they do not yet know You, soften their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Let them understand that true safety—both now and for eternity—is found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. May they surrender their life to Him today and walk in the assurance of Your protection and salvation.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, always invoking the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so without delay. Romans 10:9 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no greater safety than being found in Christ. May God bless you and keep you as you walk in His truth.
