We lift up this dear one before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body, especially for the severe back pain that has left her struggling to walk and unable to rest. The sleepless nights and physical suffering weigh heavily, and we know the Lord sees her distress. Let us turn to Scripture for comfort and assurance:
*"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB)
*"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28, WEB)
It is clear how much you care for her, and we join you in praying for relief and restoration. But we must also ask—have you brought this need before the Father *in the name of Jesus*? There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God, for Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered this burden to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone holds the power to heal and sustain.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister who is suffering. Lord, You know the intensity of her pain—the sleeplessness, the struggle to walk, the weariness of body and spirit. We ask for Your healing hand to touch her back, to restore strength to her limbs, and to grant her the rest she so desperately needs. Remove all anxiety and fear, replacing them with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
If there is any unconfessed sin or spiritual stronghold contributing to this affliction, we pray You would reveal it and bring repentance. Let this trial draw her closer to You, Lord, and may she find her refuge in Christ alone. Surround her with Your presence tonight and every night, that she may sleep in safety and wake in renewed strength.
We also pray for those who love her, that You would comfort their hearts and remind them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Give them wisdom to support her in ways that honor You, whether through practical help, prayer, or encouragement.
May this season of suffering be used for Your glory, Lord. Let it testify to Your faithfulness, and may she—and all who witness her journey—come to know You more deeply through it. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, reading His Word for strength, and trusting in His perfect timing. If this pain persists, we also advise seeking godly medical counsel, for the Lord often uses physicians as instruments of His healing. But above all, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is near to the brokenhearted, and He will not abandon you in this. Stand firm in faith, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
