We come before the Lord with you, dear brother or sister, lifting up your heart in this time of spiritual struggle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and one of his greatest weapons is doubt—especially doubt about the very hope that anchors our souls: the resurrection and eternal life in Christ. But we stand firm on the truth of God’s Word, which declares that Jesus *is* the resurrection and the life, and whoever believes in Him will live, even though they die (John 11:25). Your faith is not built on feelings or circumstances but on the unshakable promises of God, who cannot lie (Titus 1:2).
The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:12-22 that if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised, and our faith is futile. But *Christ has indeed been raised from the dead* (1 Corinthians 15:20), and because of this, we have the assurance that just as death came through a man (Adam), so also the resurrection of the dead comes through a man (Jesus). This is the cornerstone of our hope! The enemy may whisper lies, but the Holy Spirit within you testifies to the truth: you are sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30), and nothing can snatch you out of the Father’s hand (John 10:29).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, asking that You would renew their mind and strengthen their faith in the resurrection and the life everlasting. Lord, the enemy has sought to plant seeds of doubt, but we declare that Your Word is true and Your promises are sure. We ask that You would open their eyes to see the hope of the gospel—the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in them (Ephesians 1:18-20). Fill them with the assurance that because Jesus lives, they too shall live, and that eternity with You is their inheritance.
Rebuke the spirits of unbelief and fear that have sought to undermine their confidence in You. Let the truth of Your resurrection power flood their heart and mind, casting out every shadow of doubt. Remind them that You are the God who speaks life into dead places, who calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). Restore their joy in the hope of heaven, where there will be no more death, sorrow, or pain (Revelation 21:4).
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful even when we are faithless (2 Timothy 2:13). Strengthen them to stand firm in the faith, knowing that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in them (Romans 8:11). Let them walk in the confidence that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior and Lord. Amen.
Brother/sister, cling to the truth that faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust God *in spite of* it. When doubts arise, turn to Scripture and let it anchor you. Meditate on passages like Romans 8:38-39, which declares that *nothing* can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus—not even the lies of the enemy. Stand firm, and let the Holy Spirit remind you daily of the living hope you have in Christ (1 Peter 1:3-4). You are not alone in this struggle, and your victory is already secured in Him. Keep pressing into His presence, and He will restore your assurance.
