We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry for healing, stability, and joy, and we rejoice that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in your request—for it is only through Him that we find access to the Father and true healing. Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His power, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
The struggles you face with bipolar disorder are real, and we acknowledge the weight of seeking stability in your emotions and mind. Yet we are reminded of the promise in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, which says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* This is not a call to deny the difficulty of your journey but to entrust it fully to the One who holds all things together. His peace is not dependent on circumstances but is a supernatural guard over your heart and mind—even when moods fluctuate.
We also cling to **Psalm 34:17-18 (WEB)**, which declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten or overlooked by God. He sees your brokenness, and He is near to you, ready to lift you up and restore you. His desire is for you to experience the fullness of joy that comes from His presence, as **Psalm 16:11 (WEB)** promises: *"You will make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore."*
Yet we must also remember that healing—whether physical, emotional, or mental—often comes through a combination of faith, perseverance, and wise stewardship of the resources God provides. If you are not already doing so, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, medical support, and a community of believers who can walk alongside you. **Proverbs 11:14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* This applies to our personal lives as well. There is no shame in seeking help; in fact, it is an act of wisdom and trust in God’s provision.
We also urge you to meditate on **2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB)**, where Paul writes about his own struggle: *"He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* Even if healing tarries, God’s grace is sufficient. His strength is perfected in your weakness, and He will use this season to draw you closer to Himself.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who longs for healing from bipolar disorder. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb and knows every intricate detail of their mind, body, and spirit. We ask that You touch them with Your healing hand, stabilizing their moods and filling them with Your supernatural joy that transcends circumstances. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we pray for wisdom—for them to know how to steward their health well, whether through medical care, counsel, or lifestyle changes. Surround them with a community of believers who will uplift them in prayer and walk alongside them in love. Remove any shame or stigma they may feel, and replace it with the confidence that comes from knowing they are fearfully and wonderfully made by You.
Lord, if there are areas of their life where they need to surrender more fully to You—whether in trust, obedience, or resting in Your sovereignty—reveal those areas to them gently but clearly. Help them to glory in their weaknesses, that Your power may rest upon them. Let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness, not just in healing, but in sustaining them through every high and low.
We rebuke any spirit of despair, confusion, or instability that seeks to steal their joy or peace. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of the Lamb. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter, Guide, and Strength. Let them experience the truth of **Nehemiah 8:10 (WEB)**, that *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength."*
Father, we thank You in advance for the healing You are bringing—whether instantly, progressively, or ultimately in eternity. May they fix their eyes on You, the author and finisher of their faith, and may their story be a testimony of Your goodness and power. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Your struggle is not unseen, and your God is not silent. He is working all things together for your good and His glory. Keep your eyes on Him, and let His joy be your strength. We are praying with you and for you.
