Pray ### will desire to get healthy and lose some weight and stop bad habits. Also my husband and I are leaving town Saturday. Pray for all to be good and home be all fine. My dog is not good when we leave and she isn’t eating. Pray for our family. In Jesus name. Amen

We come before the Father with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting your family in prayer as you walk through this season of deep trials and burdens. The weight of loss, illness, financial strain, and uncertainty can feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds each member of your family in His hands.

First, we grieve with you over the loss of your father-in-law and aunt. Death is an enemy that stings deeply, but we take comfort in knowing that for those who are in Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). If they knew Jesus as their Savior, they are now free from pain and in His glorious presence. We pray that God would wrap you in His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the memories of your loved ones bring comfort, and may the hope of the resurrection sustain you.

We turn our hearts to your daughter, who is battling stage 4 cancer. This is a valley no parent or child should have to walk, yet we know that even here, God is near. We pray for His healing touch upon her body, that He would restore her to full health and strength. "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). We ask for wisdom for her doctors, that they would be guided to the right treatments and solutions. We also pray for supernatural peace for her and your entire family, that fear would be replaced with faith, and anxiety with trust in the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17).

Your son-in-law’s sudden health scare is also a great concern. We pray that God would reveal the cause of his fainting and bring complete restoration to his body. May this be a minor issue quickly resolved, and may it not lead to financial strain. We ask that his insurance would cover all necessary treatments, and that no unexpected medical bills would burden your family. "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Trust that God sees your needs and will provide.

We rejoice that your daughter has taken a safer job, even if it means lower pay for now. We pray that this job would be a blessing to her, that it would provide stability, and that God would open doors for increased income as she and her husband seek to start a family. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). We ask that God would bless their desire for children, that He would prepare their hearts and home for this sacred responsibility. May He grant them patience and trust in His timing, knowing that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We also pray for financial breakthrough—for stability, for the ability to save, and for the provision of a home where they can raise a family in a godly environment.

Your husband’s job insecurity and disability claim weigh heavily on your hearts. We pray that God would secure his employment, that his job would become stable and prosperous. We ask that the disability claim would be approved quickly and fairly, providing the additional support your family needs. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). May this season draw your husband closer to the Lord, trusting in His provision rather than the uncertainty of man.

We also lift up the health concerns mentioned. It is clear that stress, grief, and bad habits may be taking a toll. We pray that God would give your daughter the desire and strength to pursue health—to lose weight, to break free from harmful habits, and to steward her body as a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). This is not just for her physical well-being but for her spiritual and emotional health as well. We ask the same for you and your husband, that God would renew your strength and give you discipline to care for the bodies He has given you.

As you prepare to leave town, we pray for safety over your travels. May God protect you and your husband on the road, and may He bring you back home safely. We also pray for peace over your home in your absence, particularly for your dog. Animals are part of God’s creation, and He cares for them too. May your dog be comforted, eat well, and be at ease until you return.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). In the midst of these storms, it can be easy to focus on the waves of circumstance, but He is the One who calms the seas (Mark 4:39). We urge you to continue praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of both sorrow and hope. We lift this family to You, asking for Your mercy, healing, and provision in every area of their lives. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask that You would heal their daughter completely from cancer, that You would restore her son-in-law’s health, and that You would provide for every financial need. Give them wisdom, strength, and faith to trust You in this season.

We pray for stability in their jobs, for the approval of the disability claim, and for financial breakthrough. Provide them with a home, Lord, and bless them with the desire of their hearts to start a family in Your timing. We ask that You would draw each member of this family closer to You, that they would seek Your face and find their peace in You alone.

Protect them as they travel, Lord, and keep their home safe in their absence. Comfort their dog and meet every need, great and small. Father, we rebuke fear, anxiety, and despair in the name of Jesus. Fill this family with Your peace, Your joy, and Your unshakable hope.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You have never abandoned Your people, and You will not abandon them. We trust in Your goodness, Your sovereignty, and Your love. May this family experience Your presence in a mighty way, and may they testify of Your greatness through this trial.

In the powerful and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up again in love and prayer, dear sister, knowing how heavily this season of trials must weigh on your heart. The loss of your father-in-law and aunt so close together, the uncertainty of your son-in-law’s health, and the financial strains pressing in from every side—these are burdens no family should have to carry alone. Yet we are so grateful you reached out to us, allowing us the sacred honor of standing with you before the throne of grace.

We’ve been praying fervently for clarity and healing for your son-in-law, trusting that God’s hand is upon him even now. We’ve asked the Lord to provide miraculously for the medical expenses, to bless your daughter’s new job with stability and favor, and to open the door for them to step into the future He has planned—a home, a family, and peace in their hearts. For your husband’s job and the disability claim, we’ve pleaded for God’s divine intervention, that His timing would bring security and relief, not just for your needs but so you can be a blessing to your children in turn. And we’ve lifted up your health, too, asking the Lord to renew your strength, your resolve, and your hope as you seek Him for wisdom and discipline in this journey.

As you and your husband prepare to travel this weekend, we’re praying for safety over every mile, for protection over your home, and for your sweet dog—may the Lord comfort her anxiety and watch over her while you’re away. Most of all, we’re asking God to wrap your entire family in His peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has already begun to answer—whether through a good report from the doctors, a breakthrough in finances, or even a quiet assurance in your spirit—we’d love to rejoice with you. Share your praise with us, so we can give glory to God together. But if the weight still feels heavy, if the answers haven’t come yet, don’t hesitate to post again. We are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you, and to remind you that you are not forgotten. Our God is faithful, and He is working even when we cannot see it.

May you feel His presence tangibly in these days, may His provision meet you in ways that leave no doubt of His care, and may your family experience His goodness in overflowing measure. We’re standing with you, clinging to His promises, and trusting Him to carry you through.
