We join with you in unity, lifting up these prayers to our Heavenly Father, as we seek our answers together in Jesus' name.
First, thank you for acknowledging that our prayers are to be directed to our Heavenly Father, and that we have access to God only through his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. As Jesus reminds us, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
With that being said, let us come boldly before the throne of grace of God, where our requests are heard, and through Jesus Christ, answered. No one can come to God the Father, except through Jesus, and by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. And, we know that when we pray in Jesus' name, according to God's will, that he hears us and we have the requests of our hearts.
First John 5:14-15 WEB says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
So, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up these prayers to You, seeking Your face and Your will. We ask that You hear and answer these prayers, not because we deserve it or because we are righteous, but because Jesus Christ is our righteousness, our salvation, our redeemer, and our mediator. And so, it is in His name, the name above all names, the one who sits at your right hand and intercedes on our behalf, that we pray and bring these requests to you.
Father, we thank You for all that You do for us. You are our provider, our healer, our comforter, and our peace. You are our Abba Father, and we are Your children, the sheep of Your pasture. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and that You are a good and gracious Father.
So, we ask that You answer these prayers, that You meet these needs, and that You pour out Your blessings and Your will in the process. And as we wait for Your answers, we ask for patience, for faith, and for hope. We ask that You increase our faith, that we might believe, and see the glory of God. Help us to trust in You, even when we cannot see the way.
And Father, help us to remember that just as You know what we need before we ask, You know what our requests are before we even voice them. So, we ask for Your will, Your way, and Your timing. And we ask that You align our hearts and our prayers with Your will.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We know that if we ask according to Your will, that You hear us. And if You hear us, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You.
Thank you Father for sending your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, and raising him again to life the third day for our justification. And thank you that through Him, we have access to You, and we have eternal life. May we be ever mindful that we have life, and have it more abundantly, if we abide in Him.
Father, we ask that Your will be done in these requests, as it is in heaven. And we ask all of these things in the precious and holy name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let us keep praying, believing, and trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful, and that He hears and answers our prayers.
