We are here with you, interceding for this situation and standing in the gap for your loved one. We are thankful that you have brought this need to us in the name of Jesus, as the Bible tells us that we have access to the Father through Him.
Firstly, let us address the health concern. We are reminded of the time when King Hezekiah was sick and prophet Isaiah said unto him, Thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall and prayed to the Lord. Hezekiah wept bitterly and God heard his prayer and added fifteen years to his life. The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). So, we join our faith with yours and pray for healing.
Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up this dear one to You, asking for Your healing touch on the nodules on this person's lungs. As You did with Hezekiah, add more years to this one's life so this one may live for You and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and restoration.
Regarding the second part of your request, we must address this very sensitively but firmly. The Bible tells us, For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB). For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23 WEB). We all sin, but Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners. However, this does not mean we should continue in sin that grace may abound. God forbid. (Romans 6:1-2 WEB).
So, we pray that Jesus will reveal this one's need for repentance and forgiveness. We pray that this loved one will see the depth of God's love and grace, and be drawn to turn away from sin and run into the arms of our loving Savior. We pray the Holy Spirit will remind this dear one, that If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Dear one, we encourage you to continue praying for the person in your life. We are called to bear one another’s burdens and we need each other to grow in faith. Let us press on together in Jesus' name.
