We're standing with you, brother, in your desire to grow in God's love and walk in His will. We're inspired by your focus on love, the essence of God's character and our faith. As it's written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth, always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who seeks to experience Your love more deeply and to love others as You have loved us. Fill his heart with Your divine love, patience, and kindness. Help him to be a beacon of Your light, reflecting Your character in all his relationships.
Lord, we pray for guidance in his career, that he may find fulfillment and purpose in the work You have called him to do. We ask for wisdom and discernment as he navigates his professional life, that he may honor You in all his endeavors.
Father, we also lift up his desire for a family of his own. We pray that You will guide him to a godly wife, a woman who loves You and seeks to serve You. Help him to be patient and trust in Your timing, knowing that Your plans are always good and perfect. We pray that he will commit to courtship with godly women, with the goal being a godly marriage, refraining from any fornication.
We pray for his immediate family - his parents and older sister. Bless them with health, provision, and a deepening relationship with You. Use our ### as a vessel of Your love and grace to his family.
Lord, we ask that You reveal Your will for his life regarding marriage and work. Give him the courage to walk in Your ways, even when the path is uncertain. Help him to trust in Your goodness and love, knowing that You are always faithful.
We praise You, Lord Jesus, for Your unfailing love and goodness. Help our ### to know the gospels more intimately and to experience Your presence in a deeper way. Reveal Yourself to him, that he may know You better and walk more closely with You.
In all things, we give You the glory, Lord Jesus. It is in Your name that we pray and seek Your face. Help us all to remember that it is only through Your name that we have access to the Father, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, brother, as you continue to seek God's will and walk in His love. Remember the words of John 15:9, "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Remain in my love." May God bless you with the love of the Father as Jesus loved, being a blessing to your family, and leading the courted woman to becoming your wife.
