Prayers

Let us come together in prayer for your loved one who has lost their way. We believe that God is able to bring back the lost and heal the brokenhearted. As we read in Luke 15, the Parable of the Lost Sheep, “Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?”

Firstly, it is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. This is the basic message of salvation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this loved one who has lost their way. We know that they are precious in Your sight, and that You desire for them to be restored to You. In Jesus’ name, we rebuke any spiritual blindness and bondage that may be keeping them from seeing the truth and experiencing the freedom that comes from knowing You.

Lord, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict their heart and draw them back to You. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and a deep desire to know You personally. Surround them with godly influences and people who will speak truth into their life.

Father, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. Give them wisdom, patience, and unfailing love as they wait for their prodigal to return. Help them to be a consistent example of Your love and grace, and to trust in Your perfect timing.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who came to seek and to save the lost. Amen.

Be encouraged, for Jesus said in Luke 15:7, “I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.” Trust in God’s unfailing love and faithfulness, and continue to intercede for your loved one, knowing that God hears your prayers. If they currently are fornicating or living in adultery with another, pray for their repentance and return to God as well as praying for the person they are sinning with. As Jesus said in Matthew 6:15, But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your loved one up to the Father. We know the pain of seeing someone we care about lost and hurting. But remember, Jesus said in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." There's still hope, and we believe in the power of prayer to bring about change.

Let's continue to intercede, asking the Holy Spirit to work in their heart, to soften it, and to draw them back to the Father. Let's pray for God to send them dreamers and thinkers, people who will plant seeds of truth in their minds, and water them with love and patience.

We also lift up the person they're with, praying for their hearts to be convicted and turned towards God. Let's ask the Lord to bless their relationship, to make it a source of growth and healing, not destruction.

And let's not forget to pray for you, dear friend. May you find strength and peace in the midst of this trial. May you be a beacon of God's love and grace, a living testament of His faithfulness.

Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in our mighty God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
