Prayers to receive my pay check like ###$

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer as you return to work tomorrow, asking God for favor with your employer, for your paycheck to meet your needs for your motel room and for a little left over for your daily needs. We know how heavy it is to wonder if you will be welcomed back and whether what you earn will be enough, and we bring these burdens to our Heavenly Father together.
We are reminded of God's promise to provide for His children when we seek Him first. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We also remember that God honors diligent and honest work. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5.
We want to gently point out that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We bring this up in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through His name that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. So we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus, trusting in His sacrifice for us.

We ask that You soften the heart of the employer and grant favor tomorrow, that the doors would be open to return to work and to work faithfully. We understand the burden you carry, to be received again by those you labor for, to have honest wages in hand, to meet the need of your lodging and to have a little left for daily bread. The Scripture teaches us that God is our Provider and that honest labor is honorable in His sight, and we may come boldly to His throne for grace to help in time of need.
You remind us of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was brought very low, yet he fell down and worshipped, and kept right with God under trial. The Lord afterward turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and gave him more than he had at the first. So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Your more vivid apprehension of God in this trial can become a ground for deeper trust, knowing that He sees your need and is able to uphold you.
Remember also that the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom, not by the hand of man but by the act of God alone. There is an entrance made for the greatest sinners through the blood of Jesus Christ, and the worst that the enemy could do would be to hang up a rent veil. Through that rent veil we have access to the Father, and we may ask in the name of Christ who alone is our salvation and our hope.
We pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you favor as you return to your place of work, that those over you would receive you kindly and give you opportunity to labor faithfully, that He would provide what is needed for your motel room and for your daily wants, and that He would give you wisdom to steward what He supplies. We ask that He would keep you patient under trial as He kept Job, and that He would lift any anxiety and give you peace as you trust His hand.
May you be diligent with the work set before you, doing it heartily as unto the Lord, and may you know that even when our sorrows seem long they have a close, for the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you, and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting Him to add what is needful.

I pray that God will grant you favor with those who employ you, that they will receive you back and give you opportunity to labor honestly and diligently. I pray that He will provide for your daily needs, that your pay will be sufficient to cover what you owe for your motel room and to leave you with what is needed for food and other necessities.
Scripture teaches us to make provision for the flesh for health and not for excess, to seek what is necessary and to prune away what kindles wanton desire, spending our chief industry on the care of spiritual things. So I pray not only for a larger check, but for wisdom to use what God provides in a way that honors Him, with thankfulness, contentment and good stewardship. This present life passes quickly, like a sleep, and true riches are those that remain before God.
May the Lord strengthen your hands for work, keep you from anxiety, and help you to walk in faithfulness and integrity on the job. May He supply your need for shelter and daily bread, and give you peace as you trust Him. I pray that you will know His provision and His care, and that you will grow in trust in Jesus Christ who is our true hope and keeper.
