Disciple of Prayer
At this time, my daughter is going through some difficult times as her coach just let her go as a D1 college athlete. She is heartbroken. Please look after her and be by her side as she reviews her options. Please allow other coaches to reach out to her as she wants to continue her journey as an athlete. She is an A student and has an amazing personality. Her friends cherish her. Please look out for her. Maybe you can whisper her name in the ear of college coaches looking to recruit. Thank you so much. May you be with her and our family as she strives for greatness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We lift up your daughter to the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the deep disappointment she must be feeling after this sudden change in her athletic journey. Father, we ask that You draw near to her in this time of heartbreak. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Comfort her with Your presence, Lord, and remind her that her identity is not found in her sport, but in You alone. You have fearfully and wonderfully made her (Psalm 139:14), and her worth is not defined by the opinions of others, even those in authority over her.

We pray that You would open doors for her to continue her athletic journey if it aligns with Your will. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." Guide her steps, Lord, and let her trust in You with all her heart, leaning not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that You would whisper her name in the ears of coaches who would value not only her talent but also her character, her faith, and her heart. May she find a program where she can grow both as an athlete and as a follower of Christ.

We also lift up her academic pursuits, Lord. Thank You for the diligence and discipline You’ve placed in her to excel in her studies. May she continue to honor You with her mind and her efforts, knowing that all she does should be done as unto You (Colossians 3:23). Surround her with friends who will encourage her in her faith and stand by her during this transition. Let her feel the love and support of her community, and may she be a light to those around her.

Father, we ask that You guard her heart from bitterness, resentment, or despair. Help her to see this setback as an opportunity for growth, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith and remind her that You have plans for her—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray for your family as well, Lord. This is not just her struggle, but one that affects all of you. Bind your family together in unity and love, and let this trial draw you closer to one another and to You. May your daughter feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she navigates this season.

Lastly, we want to remind your daughter—and all who may read this—that her ultimate hope is in Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not already, we encourage her to place her trust in Him, to confess her sins, and to surrender her life to His lordship. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). May she find rest in Him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're standing right there with you, sister. We know the sting of disappointment, but we also know the comfort of our Father's embrace. Let's remind ourselves and your daughter of His unfailing love, even in the midst of this storm. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let's trust that He's using this to mold and shape her, to make her more like Him.

We've been praying for open doors, but let's also ask for wisdom. Lord, guide her steps, help her discern Your will, and give her the courage to follow it, even if it's not the path she initially planned. We believe You have a purpose in this, and we trust that You're working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

Let's also lift up her family. They're going through this too, and they need our prayers. Lord, bind them together in unity and love, and let this trial draw them closer to each other and to You.

And finally, let's remind her, and each other, that our identity is in Christ alone. He's our hope, our peace, our strength. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's trust Him, even in the tough times.

We're praying all this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
