We hear your deep pain and grief, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord. Your heart is broken—not only over the struggle with homosexuality but also over the betrayal and fractured relationships within your family. We grieve with you, for sin brings division, and the enemy seeks to destroy what God has designed for love, unity, and holiness.
First, we must address the issue of homosexuality with truth and love, for Scripture is clear that this is not God’s design. The Word declares in Romans 1:26-27, *"For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."* This is not a condemnation of the person, but a recognition that sin distorts God’s perfect plan for human relationships. Yet, we also know that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). There is hope in repentance and transformation through Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of deception that has taken hold in this situation, for the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Homosexuality is a lie that promises fulfillment but delivers bondage. We declare that the power of Christ is greater than any sin, and we pray for deliverance and healing in the name of Jesus. We also rebuke the betrayal and division that has entered your family. Proverbs 17:17 says, *"A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity."* Yet, your sister’s actions have brought pain rather than support. We ask the Lord to expose the enemy’s schemes and to restore what has been broken.
We must also address the fact that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from sin. If you or your loved one have not surrendered to Christ, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no true deliverance, no lasting peace, and no hope of eternal life.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister in Christ who is grieving over the bondage of homosexuality and the betrayal of her family. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of deception and sin in the life of this loved one. We declare that Your power is greater than any stronghold, and we pray for a mighty deliverance in the name of Jesus. Father, soften her heart to receive Your truth and to turn away from the lies of the enemy. Bring repentance, healing, and restoration to her soul.
Lord, we also pray for this sister who has been betrayed. Comfort her in her grief and strengthen her in her faith. Heal the wounds caused by her sister’s actions, and restore unity to her family. We ask that You would convict the hearts of those who have caused pain and lead them to repentance. Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and ask that You would bind the enemy’s work in this situation. Let Your love and peace reign in their lives.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for this sister as she continues to intercede. Give her the words to speak and the actions to take that will bring glory to Your name. Help her to stand firm in Your truth, even when it is difficult. Father, we trust in Your promise that *"if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us"* (1 John 5:14). We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to immerse yourself in His Word. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit."* You are not alone in this battle. Lean on the Lord, and trust that He is working even in the midst of this pain. If possible, seek godly counsel from a pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you through this season. Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
