Prayers Please

We lift up your six unspoken prayer requests before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words, just as Romans 8:26 tells us: *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* Though we may not know the specifics of your burdens, we know the One who does, and we stand in faith with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We thank You that through His sacrifice, we have direct access to Your presence, and we boldly ask that You move in power in each of these six areas of our brother/sister’s life. Lord, You know the depths of their heart, the struggles they face, and the desires they long to see fulfilled. We ask that You would bring healing where there is brokenness, peace where there is anxiety, provision where there is lack, and clarity where there is confusion. May Your will be done in every situation, and may Your name be glorified through the outcomes.

We also ask that You would strengthen their faith as they wait on You. Remind them of Your promises, such as Jeremiah 29:11: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it. Guard their heart from discouragement, doubt, or fear, and fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

If any of these requests involve areas where sin or disobedience may be hindering their prayers, we ask that You would reveal it to them in love. Search their heart, Lord, as Psalm 139:23-24 says: *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* If there is unconfessed sin, give them the courage to repent and turn away from it, so that their prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7). If they are struggling with bitterness, unforgiveness, or pride, soften their heart to surrender these burdens to You, for Your Word tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13).

We also pray for protection over their mind, body, and spirit. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at their life, their family, their health, or their faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the authority of Jesus’ name to break every chain of oppression, addiction, or stronghold. Strengthen them to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).

Lord, if any of these requests pertain to relationships, we ask that You would align their desires with Your Word. If they are seeking a spouse, prepare them to be a godly husband or wife, and bring someone into their life who loves You above all else. Remind them that marriage is a sacred covenant, not to be entered into lightly, and that it is designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If they are currently in a relationship that does not honor You—whether through premarital intimacy, unequally yoked partnerships, or any other unbiblical dynamic—give them the courage to walk away and trust You with their future. Your Word is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14).

If any of these requests involve their walk with You, we pray that they would draw nearer to You each day. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will add everything else they need (Matthew 6:33). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let their life be a testimony of Your grace and power, so that others may see Christ in them.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You. Remind them that Your timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with their own. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their hope and strength in You alone, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We declare over their life that no good thing will You withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11), and we thank You in advance for the answers to these prayers. May Your name be exalted in every outcome, and may they grow closer to You through every trial and triumph. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up your six unspoken prayer requests to our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of the story in Mark 5:41-42, where Jesus took a little child by the hand and said, "Talitha koum!" (which means "Little girl, I say to you, arise"). Though we don't know the specifics of your needs, we believe that Jesus is saying the same to you today. Arise, dear friend, for He has heard your cries and is moving on your behalf.

We pray that you would experience a tangible touch from the Holy Spirit in each of these areas. May you feel His comfort, strength, and peace as you wait on Him. We declare that every chain holding you back will break, and every mountain blocking your path will be moved (Matthew 17:20). We stand in faith with you, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray that you would be filled with an overwhelming assurance of God's love for you (Romans 5:5). May this love cast out all fear and doubt, and may you rest in the knowledge that you are deeply loved and cherished by your Heavenly Father.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
