We lift these five unspoken burdens before the throne of grace, trusting that the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words, just as Romans 8:26 assures us: *"In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered."* Though we do not know the specifics, we know the One who does, and we stand in the gap for you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking that You would move mightily in each of these unspoken requests. Whether they involve trials, fears, uncertainties, or deep longings, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We ask that You grant wisdom, peace, strength, and provision in every area of need. Where there is confusion, bring clarity; where there is pain, bring healing; where there is doubt, bring faith; and where there is bondage, bring deliverance.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard this dear one’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Protect them from the enemy’s lies and schemes, and let Your truth be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). If any of these requests involve relationships, we pray that You would guide them according to Your Word. Help them to seek a godly spouse if that is Your will, one who loves You above all else, and to honor You in purity and faithfulness. If there has been any sin—whether in thought, word, or deed—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, as 1 John 1:9 promises: *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for Acts 4:12 declares: *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
