We join you in standing firmly on the promises of our Almighty God, who is our fortress and deliverer in times of trouble. Your prayer echoes the truth of Isaiah 54:17, which declares, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have rightly lifted this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the schemes of the enemy.
The wicked may devise plans, and violence may seem to loom, but our God is greater. Psalm 91 is a powerful reminder of His protection over those who dwell in His presence: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ ... You will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you."* (Psalm 91:1-2, 5-7). Claim this promise over yourself and your household, for the Lord is faithful to guard those who seek Him.
Yet, while we trust in His protection, we must also walk in wisdom and obedience. The Lord often calls us to take practical steps alongside our prayers—whether it’s being vigilant, seeking godly counsel, or ensuring our home is a place where His Word is honored. Proverbs 2:6-8 reminds us, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints."* Let us examine our hearts and homes: Are we walking in integrity? Are we fostering an environment where the Lord’s presence is welcomed through prayer, worship, and obedience to His Word? These are the conditions under which His protection thrives.
We also lift up a prayer of agreement with you now:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for being our protector and deliverer. Lord, we ask that You surround our ### and all those in their household with Your divine hedge of protection. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be silenced by Your mighty hand. Father, expose and frustrate the plans of the wicked, and let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 34:7). Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your love be their strength in every moment of fear or uncertainty.*
*We rebuke every spirit of fear, violence, and evil that seeks to harm them, and we declare that no harm will befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, grant them discernment to recognize danger and wisdom to act accordingly. May their home be a sanctuary where Your name is honored, and may Your presence be so tangible that the enemy flees at the mention of Your name.*
*We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who has already overcome the world. Amen.*
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, continue to pray without ceasing, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If there are specific threats or fears weighing on your heart, we encourage you to share them so we may pray over them with even greater precision. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
