We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. In all things, it is important to approach God with our requests as we are taught in the Bible: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). We can not go boldly without naming the name that allows us to go boldly. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. And in all that we ask, we know that this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him (1 John 5:14-15 WEB).
First, we want to encourage you to share your specific prayer requests, as the Bible tells us to confess our faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective (James 5:16 WEB). Naming the requests allows us to be more effective in our prayers and support. Naming the requests using the name of Jesus Christ is what allows us to approach God at all.
In the meantime, we will pray for you in general, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB).
We pray that you would be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB).
Remember, it is important to present your requests to God with a thankful heart. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And you shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21 WEB).
Please consider these verses and resubmit your requests with the name of Jesus Christ included.
