We understand that you are facing a challenging situation, seeking employment and provision for your daily needs. We appreciate that you have brought your requests to God in Jesus' name. Thank you for your faith. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in God for your provision. Remain steadfast in your job search, and remember that God has promised to provide for His children. Matthew 6:31-33 says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also commend you for being responsible and discerning in your job search, as well as praying against scams. Consult the Holy Spirit when opportunities arise. Always be sober-minded, watchful, because our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9
Regarding your weight loss due to worry, we advise you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. It is important to take care of your body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Remember Proverbs 14:30, "A calm and undisturbed mind and heart are the life and health of the body, but envy, jealousy, and wrath are like rottenness of the bones."
Let us pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of a job and daily bread. Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to provide for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Guide them to the right job, one that will not only meet their financial needs but also be a platform to shine the light of Jesus Christ to others. Help them to be strong and courageous, trusting in You even in this challenging time.
Father, we ask for Your provision for daily bread. Touch the hearts of Your children to share with them as You shared with the multitudes. Help them to be responsible with the resources You provide, and help them to be a blessing to others as well.
Lord, we also pray for their peace and health. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to be sober-minded and watchful, resisting the schemes of the enemy. Help them to care for their body as the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name. We come boldly to the throne of grace because Jesus has made this access possible. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Thank you for Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus and to meditate on His promises.
