We understand that you are facing difficulties with bullies and feeling unsafe in your home and at work. Firstly, we would like you to know that all of us should be thankful to God for He is good. The Bible tells us that in Ephesians 5:20 "giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to our God and Father". We are also instructed in First Thessalonians 5:18 "to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus". We should always give thanks to God for all that he has done for us and will continue to do for us. Many of us can forget though who we should be praying through. The Bible is clear that we pray through Jesus Christ, for we are told in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only in the name of Jesus that anyone can come to God and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. If anyone does not believe in Jesus they will not be able to come to God and will be condemned to hell. This is the truth and is not optional.
We join you in praying for justice and safety. We also want us to consider the love of God and how we can find refuge in Him. As it says in Psalm 91:1-4 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Regarding the settlement for damages to your home, we pray that God's will be done and that you will find peace and provision in this situation. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." and Philippians 4:19 "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Concerning the person in your home causing you to feel unsafe, we pray for God's intervention and wisdom for you. We must also consider what God's word says about how we should treat others and how we should seek peace with all people, as it states in Romans 12:18 "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." If the other person is acting immorally or in a sinful way, look at Matthew 18:15-17 for the process that we should follow. However, if they are being abusive it may not be safe to follow this process alone.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your unfailing love and protection. We pray for justice and safety for this dear one, surround them with Your angels and let Your peace fill their home and workplace. We ask Your favor and wisdom regarding the settlement and we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We rebuke those who are involved with the bullying and are acting in a sinful and immoral way. We cast this out of their lives and ask for the blood of Jesus to cover them. We pray for all of this in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
