We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. First, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We would like to encourage you to speak your prayer requests out loud or write them down. This will allow you to pray specifically and for us to better lift you up before the throne of God. Our prayers should be specific and God will hear and answer us.
Malachi 3:16 WEB tells us, "Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name." We can take comfort in knowing that God hears our prayers and that He is faithful to answer them according to His will.
John 15:7 WEB says, "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." We encourage you to remain in Christ and to allow His words to dwell in you richly.
Although we cannot pray for your requests specifically since they are unspoken, we can still lift you up in prayer, asking God to work in your life according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in prayer. Although we do not know the specific requests, You do, for You know the hearts of all people. We ask that You work in their life according to Your will, providing them with the strength, wisdom, and guidance they need. We pray that You would bring them comfort and peace, and that You would help them to trust in You completely. We ask that Your will be done.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
