We are here to lift you up in prayer and to seek God's will together. In all things, it is important to approach God with your specific needs and let them be known to God. First, we are called to as it says in Phillipians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We are reassured in I John 5:14 that says, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." Notice this verse says "if we ask anything according to his will. It is so important to be in the will of God. It is also important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." So we should be mindful to pray in Jesus name.
Let us pray together for your unspoken requests:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has brought their unspoken requests to you. Lord, you know the depths of their heart and the specific needs they have. We pray that your will be done in each of these areas.
We ask that you provide them with your peace, wisdom, and guidance. Comfort them in any areas of struggle, and grant them the strength to endure and overcome. Help them to trust in you completely, knowing that you are faithful and that your love for them is unfailing. Guide them to ask all prayers and petitions according to your will.
We also pray that they will seek you diligently, drawing closer to you each day. Help them to be steadfast in their faith, standing firm on your promises. Remind them of your goodness and your sovereignty over all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you continue to seek God's face, remember the words of Romans 8:26-27: "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the holy ones according to God."
Trust that the Holy Spirit is interceding on your behalf, even when you don't have the words to express your needs. Be encouraged, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
