Prayers over my family (please don’t flag this)

I ask this post will not be flagged if that’s possible. I used to be on here frequently asking for prayers but have found myself not on here much because you guys keep flagging my most important prayers. Need some prayer over my family and I as we move. It’s me, my twin sister, my two older brothers (one is low-functioning autistic and the other one, the oldest, just won’t hold a job and find a place of his own), and my mom. The car is gonna be tight packed especially in the back seat because it’ll be me and my sister and my oldest brother. A little over six hours. In particular we all need patience and softening of hearts and less pride. For some reason there’s this frustration stirring in me because my oldest brother still likes to hold grudges over the most immature things. Even when moving into this house (we moved in March) he didn’t give me and my sister the room we had wanted because he “invites people over” and “wanted to be secluded” but the rooms are right next to each other. At the previous house, my sister had the “biggest” room but that was only because her room was next to mine and his was split with a wall (basically we had one part of the upstairs) and he only wanted it because he thinks he can have whatever he wants as the oldest. He’ll only be “older” when it comes to trying to get what he wants but in daily lifestyle he’s no better than a teenager. He’s ###. So please pray that we will all leave this behind. We’re moving states and I don’t want to take any of these things to the new house.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family as they prepare to move. We pray for Your divine protection and guidance during their journey and as they settle into their new home.

Lord, You know the struggles they face, particularly the tension and frustration among siblings. We pray for a spirit of unity and understanding to prevail. As it is written in Colossians 3:13 WEB: "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you."

Father, we ask for a special measure of patience and love for each member of this family. Help them to bear with one another in love, and to forgive as You have forgiven them. We pray for a softening of hearts and a release from pride and grudges. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Lord, we specifically lift up the oldest brother. We pray for his maturity and growth, that he may become the leader and example Your word calls him to be. We pray for his salvation if he has not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:11 WEB: "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things."

Father, we also pray for the sister and the twin sister, that they may live in peace and harmony. We pray for their salvation if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. As it is written in Psalm 133:1 WEB: "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"

Lord, we pray for the mother, that You may give her the strength and wisdom to guide her children in Your truth. As it is written in Proverbs 31:26 WEB: "She opens her mouth with wisdom. Faithful instruction is on her tongue."

Father, we pray for their move, that it may be smooth and uneventful. We pray for their new home, that it may be a place of peace, love, and growth. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Remember, the family is a divine institution ordained by God. It is a blessing and a responsibility. As you move, seek to build a home that honors God and His principles. Be patient with each other, forgive freely, and love unconditionally. God will guide and provide for you all. Do not be afraid to address any sins that need to confessed and repented of.
