We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in need of God’s healing touch. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains us by Your power. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we stand on this promise today, believing that You see the pain of this mother suffering from arthritis and allergies, and we ask for Your complete healing to flow through her body. Strengthen her joints, soothe her inflammation, and cleanse her system of every allergen that afflicts her. May she rise up in renewed health, giving You all the glory.
For the stepfather, we also pray for restoration—whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over him, asking that You mend what is broken and bring wholeness in every area of his life.
And for the one who has written this request, we pray for complete healing from itching and rashes. Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and affliction that seeks to torment this body. Your Word says in 1 Peter 2:24, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."* We declare this truth over this situation—by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already won. We also pray for deliverance from every spiritual attack. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand in the authority of Christ, binding every demonic assignment sent against this family and loosing the peace, protection, and power of the Holy Spirit in its place.
Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around them, as it says in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every assignment of the enemy be scattered in Jesus’ mighty name. We also pray for Your blessing to rest upon them—not just in health, but in every area of their lives. May they walk in the fullness of Your provision, favor, and joy.
We must also gently address the way this request was framed. While we appreciate the desire for prayer, we notice that the name of Jesus was not explicitly invoked. Scripture is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father and receive answers to our prayers. If this family does not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to repentance and place their trust in Him. For those who already believe, we encourage them to pray in Jesus’ name, for He said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."*
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We trust that as we have prayed according to Your will, You hear us. May this family experience Your healing power, Your deliverance, and Your peace. Strengthen their faith, draw them closer to You, and let them walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. In His precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.
