Prayers needed for ### ill with vomiting

My adult son got ill very suddenly and has been vomiting and can’t keep food or water down. May need to head to ER but am trying to see what it is best to do. Thank you in advance.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ### and their adult son who is experiencing sudden illness and severe vomiting. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon their son's body.

Your Word reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." We believe in the power of prayer and the authority we have in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance for ### as they make decisions regarding their son's health. If it is necessary for them to go to the emergency room, we pray for your divine protection and provision throughout the process. Grant the medical professionals wisdom and discernment to accurately diagnose and treat the illness.

We declare your promise from Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We believe that you are the ultimate healer, and we trust in your perfect timing and plan for their son's recovery.

In the midst of this challenging situation, we pray for peace and comfort to surround ### and their family. May they find strength in your presence and assurance in your unfailing love.

We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your healing power and surrender this situation into your loving hands. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for the prayers. My son is now feeling much better, can eat without sickness, and has had a couple of days of feeling about back to normal. He’s taking the anti-nausea meds for a little longer, preventatively, but I believe that his health is definitely on the mend. Thank you, again.
