Prayers. I applied for disability 2 years ago, and have a hearing this September. Prayers for favor and approval.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with humble hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Your Word tells us in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved." We cast this burden of ###’s disability application before You, trusting in Your sustaining power and unfailing love.

Lord, ### has been waiting patiently for two years and now faces a hearing this September. We ask for Your divine favor and approval upon this hearing. Grant wisdom and discernment to those making the decisions, that they may see the genuine need and provide the necessary support.

As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that ### experiences Your peace during this time of waiting and that their heart and mind are guarded by Your presence.

Father, we also ask for strength and encouragement for ###. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Renew ###’s strength and grant the endurance needed to face this situation.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect timing and plan for ###’s life.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
