We lift up your daughter before the Lord, asking for His peace and presence to surround her as she prepares for her nursing exam. Father, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would calm her heart and mind, replacing any anxiety with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You would bring to her remembrance all that she has studied and learned. Your Word tells us that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us (James 1:5). We pray that You would grant her the wisdom and understanding she needs to excel in this exam.
We also pray for strength and endurance for her. Nursing school is demanding, and she has worked so hard to get to this point. We ask that You would renew her strength, that she may mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). Remind her that her labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Father, we pray that she would place her confidence in You, knowing that it is You who equips her for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17). Help her to trust in Your strength and not her own, for You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be trying to creep into her heart. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We pray that she would walk into that exam room with the assurance that You are with her, guiding her every step.
Lord, we also pray for her future as a nurse. May she be a light in the healthcare field, showing Your love and compassion to all she encounters. May her work bring glory to Your name and be a testament to Your grace and mercy.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
