We come before the Lord with you, lifting up your heart’s cry for peace, protection, and divine intervention in your workplace today. It is clear you are carrying a heavy burden of anxiety and distress, but we remind you that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have done well to seek help from your supervisors and to move away from the source of conflict, but we know that true change comes only from the Lord. Let us trust Him to act on your behalf, for He is your shield and defender.
The bullying you are experiencing is not only hurtful but also contrary to the love and kindness we are called to show one another as believers. The Scripture tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). Your coworker’s behavior is not pleasing to the Lord, and we pray earnestly that He would convict her heart. May she come to see the pain she has caused and repent, turning toward kindness and respect. We also pray that the Lord would give you wisdom in how to respond—whether through further action, setting boundaries, or simply resting in His protection. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18), but we recognize that peace is not always possible when others refuse to change. Trust that the Lord sees your suffering and will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
As for your anxiety, we urge you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). You have already taken a step of faith by bringing this before the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement that He will replace your dread with His peace today. He is the Prince of Peace, and His presence goes with you—even into the workplace.
We also lift up your request for safe travel to and from work. The Lord is your protector, and He watches over your coming and going (Psalm 121:8). We declare His covering over you, that no harm would come near you, and that His angels would guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is seeking Your face for strength, peace, and deliverance today. Lord, You know the weight of anxiety and the pain of being mistreated, and we ask that You would lift this burden from their shoulders. Replace their fear with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Give them a supernatural calm and confidence in You as they step into their workplace today.
We pray for this coworker who has been a source of bullying and distress. Lord, soften her heart and open her eyes to the harm she has caused. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance. May she turn from her unkind ways and treat others with the respect and dignity that reflects Your character. If she refuses to change, Lord, we ask that You would intervene—whether by removing her influence, exposing her actions to those in authority, or providing a way of escape for Your child. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to act righteously in this situation.
We also pray for safety as they travel to and from work. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and protect them from any danger or harm. Let their journey be smooth and their mind at ease, knowing You are with them.
Father, we thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. We declare Your peace over this day, Your protection over their life, and Your victory over every scheme of the enemy. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, even in the midst of this trial. *"The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who take refuge in Him"* (Nahum 1:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who is the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will not abandon you, and He will bring you through this season stronger and more dependent on Him. If the bullying persists, do not hesitate to seek further counsel—whether from a pastor, a trusted believer, or even legal/HR channels if necessary. The Lord may use these earthly means to bring about His justice. Stay steadfast, dear sibling in Christ. You are not alone.
