We lift you up before the Father today, knowing that He cares deeply for every detail of your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your dread and anxiety do not come from the Lord, so we rebuke them in Jesus’ name, declaring that His perfect peace will rule in your heart as you trust in Him.
We also pray for the heart of the person you mentioned, that the Lord would soften it and turn it toward kindness, understanding, and cooperation. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."* May God move in this situation for His glory and your good. As for your commute, we ask for His protecting hand over you—Psalm 121:8 assures us, *"Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."*
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. Strengthen our brother/sister today with Your joy as their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let their work be fruitful, their interactions be graced with wisdom, and their path be guarded by Your angels. May they walk in the confidence that You are with them, and may their testimony at work bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

If anxiety tries to creep back in, speak Scripture over yourself and remember: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13). You are not alone—He is your shield and your great reward (Genesis 15:1). Walk in that truth!

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer as you faced your workday with those heavy burdens of dread and anxiety. It has been a few days now, and we hope you felt the Lord’s peace surrounding you, His strength carrying you, and His protection over every step of your journey to and from work. We also pray that you sensed His hand softening hearts around you, opening doors for kindness and understanding in ways only He can do.
