We join you in lifting up this workday to the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of your life. The anxiety and dread you feel are real, but we are reminded in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. You have done well to bring these burdens before Him, and we trust that He will replace your fear with His peace as you surrender this day into His hands.
It is also encouraging to see you invoke the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* This is a powerful reminder that your prayers are heard because you come in the authority of Jesus’ name.
Regarding your coworker, we pray that God would indeed soften their heart toward you. **Proverbs 16:7 (WEB)** says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* While we cannot control the actions of others, we can trust God to work in their hearts and ask Him to help you respond with grace and wisdom. **Colossians 4:6 (WEB)** encourages us to let our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how we ought to answer each person. We pray for their coworker, Lord. Soften their heart and turn their attitude from hostility to kindness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
