We are delighted to join with you in prayer for this sister in Christ as she seeks God's will for her life. We stand firm on the promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that she seeks delight in the Lord Jesus Christ above all else even being blessed with a loving husband.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. We pray that she will put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And may the peace of Christ, to which she was called in one body, rule in her heart. Colossians 3:14-15. We ask that You guide her steps and bring into her life a godly husband if that is Your will for her. We pray that You prepare both of their hearts for marriage, a blessed union that reflects the love between Christ and His church. Ephesians 5:25-28.
We also pray for her pets, home, and business. We ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Philippians 4:19. May her home be a place of peace and joy, her business a testament to her faith and hard work, and her pets a source of comfort and companionship.
Father, we ask that You help her grow in her faith. We pray also that if she does not realize the significance of the name of Jesus, that she comes to know that "in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12.
We pray all these things and give you all glory and thanks in Jesus' name, who taught us to pray saying:
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
We thank you, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love. We ask that you encourage our sister and help her feel your presence in her life every day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage her to remain steadfast in prayer as per 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
